terms of service

spin sensei ("we", "us") is a DJ-practice app published by JCLVSH LLC. by joining the waitlist, using this site, or using the app, you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, don't use them.

the app

spin sensei teaches DJ skills through drills, scoring, streaks, and a leaderboard. it's provided as-is, and we may add, change, or retire features as it evolves.

the waitlist

joining the waitlist lets us email you when the app launches, and nothing else. reply to any waitlist email to be removed.

your account

the app creates an anonymous account on first launch so your progress can sync; you can optionally back it up with Sign in with Apple. you're responsible for the device and any linked sign-in you use, and for any display name you set (keep it clean, it's public on the leaderboard).

subscriptions and payments

any subscription is sold and billed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat; Apple's terms govern the purchase and we never see your payment details. manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

acceptable use

• don't use spin sensei for anything unlawful.
• don't reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or try to break the service.
• don't submit a display name or content that infringes, harasses, or misleads.

we can suspend accounts that abuse the service or the leaderboard.

published mixes and the floor

the app lets you publish mixes you record — with a title, a public @username, an avatar, and optional social handles — to a shared feed ("the floor") and to public web pages. we have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior: no infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or harassing material, in mixes, titles, comments, usernames, or handles. every mix and comment carries a report option and every DJ can be blocked in-app; content reported by multiple users is hidden immediately pending review, and we remove violating content and eject abusive users within 24 hours of a report. publishing grants us the license needed to host, stream, and display your mix on the floor and its share pages; unpublish anytime in the app, or email us and we'll take it down.

your content and ours

your progress and any display name stay yours; you grant us the permission needed to store them and run the app and leaderboard. the spin sensei name, drills, curriculum, and app are owned by JCLVSH LLC, so please don't copy or resell them.

league prizes

from time to time we award physical prizes (like a pre-loaded USB drive, approximate value $20) for league achievements — for example, being the first DJ to reach the sensei league, or topping a sensei-league cohort for a week. these are skill-based contests: winners are determined solely by weekly XP earned through practice, no purchase is necessary, and no element of chance is involved. eligibility: prizes ship to US addresses only, and winners must be 18 or older (or have a parent or guardian accept the prize on their behalf). each person can win a given prize kind once. we'll contact winners through their account email for a shipping address; if a winner doesn't respond within 30 days, the prize is forfeited. we may adjust or end prize programs at any time, and accounts that violate these terms (including leaderboard manipulation) aren't eligible. these contests are run solely by JCLVSH LLC; apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, any contest or prize program.

no warranties, and limits

spin sensei is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and is a practice tool, not a certification. to the fullest extent the law allows, JCLVSH LLC isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

changes

if these terms change materially, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
