Privacy Policy

spin sensei ("we", "us") is a DJ-practice app published by JCLVSH LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. We keep it short because we collect little.

What We Collect

• Account identifier. On first launch the app creates an anonymous account so your progress can sync, no signup, no name, no email required. If you choose Sign in with Apple to back up your progress, we receive your Apple user identifier and, only if you allow it, your name.
• Practice data. The drills you complete, your scores, XP, streaks, and levels. This is what powers your progress, syncing across devices, and the leaderboard.
• Display name.Optional. If you set one for the leaderboard, it is shown publicly there. We don't set it from your real name.
• Push token. If you enable reminders/notifications, a device push token so we can send streak reminders. You can turn this off in iOS Settings at any time.
• Usage analytics. Which screens and features you use and how your drills go (for example a drill started, passed, or failed), sent to PostHog and linked to your account identifier, so we can see what works and what to fix.
• Crash reports. When the app crashes or hits an error, a diagnostic report (device model, iOS version, app version, and what the app was doing) is sent to Sentry, linked to your account identifier.
• Session recordings. We use PostHog to record sessions on this website and in the app, so we can see where people get stuck and fix bugs. A recording captures what appears on your screen and how you interact with it: the pages or screens you view, taps, clicks, scrolling, and the text you type into fields. It can include anything shown on screen, including your display name, profile, and any code you enter. Password fields and similar sensitive fields are always masked. On the website, a recording also includes browser console messages and page performance data. Recordings never include audio, are linked to your account identifier, can be viewed only by our team, are never sold or used for advertising, and are deleted automatically after 30 days.
• Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist on this site, your email, used only to tell you when the app launches.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites, and there is no third-party advertising.
• We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, or microphone.

Where It Lives

Your data is stored on our backend provider, Supabase. Subscriptions, if you purchase one, are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. We never see your payment details. Usage analytics and session recordings are processed by PostHog, and crash reports by Sentry.

Your Choices

• Delete everything.The app has an in-app "delete account" option (Settings) that permanently erases your account and all associated data from our servers.
• Notifications. Turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings.
• Waitlist. Reply to any waitlist email to be removed.
• Session recordings. To have recordings of your sessions deleted sooner, email spinsensei@jclvsh.art.

Children

spin sensei is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
